Hermosa Beach’s Volley For a Cause Tournament hosted by BLND PR, Village Care International, and Silicon Beach Sports League was the talk of the town this past Sunday Funday. 10 Tech Start-Up Groups including: Enplug, Rubicon, nVestly, Enrou, Ark, Hurley Brothers, WSEP, TV Create, UserBlitz and Pluto.tv participated at the Tournament to help raise money for the recent Ebola Outbreak in African Countries – #Volley4aCause.
A guest appearance was made by Hermosa Beach’s Mayor Michael DiVirgilio who came to support the event and hang loose with all of the charity’s participants. Rubicon, the winning team of the beach volleyball tournament was awarded the Grand Prize donated by LVFT Apparel. Other local sponsors of the event included the Southbay’s newest boutique gym Bionic Body, JLynn Custom Jewelry of Hermosa Beach, Sandcloud, Umami Burger, Zico Coconut Water, Invigorade, Fat Tomato Pizza, Le Vigne Winery, and LA’s Beer Hop Tour.
In celebrating the amazing turnout of the Volley 4 a Cause Tournament, an after party was held at Ocean Bar and Lounge in which an in-home wine tasting, beer tour, gym membership, and much more was auctioned off all in efforts of raising money for the Ebola Outbreak Crisis. Approximately $4,200 was raised at the Volley 4 a Cause Tournament in “the best little beach city”, Hermosa Beach, California.
