Meet Lauren travel & lifestyle blogger and co-founder of Wells and Grace, a content creation and consulting firm. We’ve become addicted to scrolling Lauren’s Instagram feed and reading about your latest adventure. Her trip to Iceland this past summer, trust us will give you serious travel envy and make you add the Blue Lagoon to the top of your bucket list (see a photo below!). Did we mention she is also an award winning designer and published travel writer that has worked with top editorial partners like Food & Wine, Glitter Guide and Martha Stewart. After reading her questionnaire all we want to do is go on a coffee date because she is one talented and inspiring businesswoman. Learn more about Lauren and check out her blog here!
Can you tell us a bit about you and your background? I started my first corporate job within a week of graduating in 2007, and I continued to work in the advertising industry for the following six years.
In 2012, I planned and designed our own wedding, and I fell in love with the entire process. It was one of the first weddings I had ever been to, so perhaps ignorance truly was bliss! At the same time, I had been growing less passionate about my current career path, and the agency life in general. I had always dreamt of working for myself—and to have the creative freedom (and flexibility to travel) that would afford. I decided to give the event design thing a try, and so I put myself out there via Facebook in 2013. By 2014, I had enough business to pursue my company full-time—and to create a proper website!
Over the past few years, there has been a ton of change and growth.I no longer design weddings or events in a hands-on fashion, but just provide design consulting. Focusing on travel and lifestyle, I create content for brands and tourism partners, am a professional blogger and influencer, and am beginning to pursue freelance travel writing.
What 3 words would you use to describe yourself? Optimistic, affectionate, enthusiastic. basically an overgrown puppy.

What Profession other than yours would you love to attempt? I would love to be a hotelier, and one day own a property in a slice of the world that we love.
What inspired your blog? What didn’t?! There is so much beauty in this world, and so much world to see.
What is your favorite social media platform and why? Instagram for sure! It is simple, clean and beautiful.
What do you think it is about your blog that keeps people coming back for more? I hope it is the imagery, or that they find something unique or inspiring when reading through. I also spend a TON of time planning each trip we take, and I love sharing everything we did / saw / ate with my readers. So I hope they see it as a useful resource and trusted glitter guide when planning their own holidays.

Where do you see yourself in 10 years? I am not quite sure where, but hopefully Matty and I will have a few kiddos by our side.
What are 3 things you can’t live without? French fries, ice cream, cheese. Or let’s try this again. Food, Matty, fresh air.

If you could spend an entire day with one person, who would it be and what would you do? My husband. We’d wake up on a tropical island, swim at sunrise, and hike up a mountain for sunset. Dinner by the ocean, and reading in a hammock before bed.
